3. The Bay 101 — bridge and towers together

Busan’s most popular night-view check-in. With the water as foreground, Gwangan Bridge and the Marine City skyscrapers sit in one postcard frame. Shooting outdoors is free, or grab a drink at the adjacent bars and restaurants.

• Aim for the blue hour: the 20-30 minutes after sunset when the sky still holds blue and the lights have just come on give the best contrast. Around 7:30pm in summer, 5:30pm in winter — check the day’s sunset time.
