Why stay in Gwangalli

Gwangalli’s real charm comes out at night. Once the sun sets, Gwangan Bridge lights up, the beach fills with picnickers and photographers, and the surrounding bars and izakayas stay open late. It’s a livelier, more energetic pick than Haeundae for travelers who love nightlife and photo spots.

Getting there

Get off at “Gwangan” station on Subway Line 2 and walk about 15 minutes to the beach, or transfer to a bus that drops you right at the beachfront. During the Busan Fireworks Festival each October–November, Gwangalli gets very crowded, so book accommodation and transport ahead.
