Haeundae Blueline Park turned the old Donghae Nambu railway into a coastal leisure line, and it’s Busan’s hottest photo spot for 2026. There are two experiences: the elevated Sky Capsule and the sea-level Beach Train. Here’s how they differ, how to book, and how to shoot the best photos.

Route & Stops

Runs along the coast between Mipo — Cheongsapo — Songjeong:

• Mipo: near Haeundae Beach, the main starting point.
• Cheongsapo: red-and-white lighthouses, sky observatory, seafood restaurants — well worth a stop.
• Songjeong: Songjeong Beach, a more laid-back local vibe.

The Sky Capsule mostly runs Mipo↔Cheongsapo; the Beach Train covers the full line in segments.

How to Get the Best Photos

• Choose a sea-side seat.
• Ride near sunset when the water glows golden.
• The Sky Capsule pod is a private 4-person car — great for group shots.

• When tickets open: the official site (bluelinepark.com) releases each date every Tuesday at 7 am Korea time, exactly 4 weeks ahead. Sunset and weekend slots can go within minutes. KKday and Klook sell the same timed tickets in English without the Korean sign-up.
• Ride Mipo → Cheongsapo. That direction runs on the outer, sea-side track with open East Sea views the whole way; the return leg faces the hillside.
• Sold out? Try for same-day leftovers at Mipo Station (low odds) or ride the Beach Train instead.
• Getting there: Mipo Station is a 10–15 minute walk from Haeundae Beach or Haeundae subway station (Line 2). Many people ride the capsule one way and walk back along the coastal path.
• Weather: a clear day gives the bright blue sea; the pods are semi-open, so bring a layer in winter or on windy days.
